Pete Graffeo

Head Coach and Co-Founder of Boca Thunder Baseball, Inc., Pete was named All-County Palm Beach Spring 2019 Coach of the year after taking his team to 13-1 in district play in a 20-6 overall season.  In 2013, 2019, and 2021, Pete was named Coach of the Year by SunSentinel, Palm Beach Post, and Palm Beach County High School Baseball Network after leading his team to a district title and regional semifinal appearance. Additional awards include:

• 2021 SunSentinel Palm Beach Coach of the Year

• 2021 Palm Beach Post Coach of the Year

• 2021 HSBN Coach of the Year

• 2019 SunSentinel Palm Beach County Coach of the Year

Pete is a former college baseball player and has coached youth baseball for 25+ years.  His mission is to teach the players the ideals of good sportsmanship, team play, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority. Under Coach Pete's guidance, his teams have worked hard; his dedication has paid off in player performance on and off the field.  

 

Nineteen years ago, Pete led 4 of his current players to a winning season in the Babe Ruth Youth Baseball league.  Soon after taking the league's All-Star team to States, he co-founded Boca Thunder Baseball, and 8 of the original 10 players remained from the inaugural season until they went to play college baseball.  Coach Graffeo's showcase teams compete in prestigious tournaments throughout the summer and early fall, playing against highly competitive teams from all over the United States.
